AB  - Seasonal dynamics of fall armyworm, &lt;em&gt;Spodoptera frugiperda&lt;/em&gt; on maize was carried out at Experimental Farm, Department of Entomology and Research Farm, Department of Seed Science and Technology, CSK HPKV Palampur during &lt;em&gt;kharif&lt;/em&gt; 2021 and 2022. Insect population initiated during 25&lt;sup&gt;th&lt;/sup&gt; SMW and reached the peak level of 1.8 larvae per five infested plants in 27&lt;sup&gt;th&lt;/sup&gt; SMW during 2021 and 1.6 larvae per five infested plants during 2022 in 30&lt;sup&gt;th&lt;/sup&gt; and 31&lt;sup&gt;st&lt;/sup&gt; SMW which declined thereafter and remained associated with crop till harvesting upto 39&lt;sup&gt;th&lt;/sup&gt; SMW.
